About the Event

Join Meg for a 3 week Yin Yoga series! May 15, 22 & 29

A Sunday morning group of classes to help embrace the season of Spring. Focusing on the Wood Element along with the Liver and Gallbladder Meridians, these energy channels are thought to govern the overall healthy flow of energy. If you want to work through chronic anger, impulsivity, frustrations, migraines, arthritis or maybe just compliment a yang style of movement, join us for this series!

Different than restful Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga is an inward focused practice of long held floor postures that center on less elastic connective tissues. Muscle groups soften while exposing the joints to pressure. Chi is concentrated in deep yin tissues, pulling the skeleton apart in a non-aggressive way. Class will begin with an opening meditation and breath practice.

Masks optional and COVID vaccines currently required for in studio participation.
